Additional Formation Opportunties:
In addition to religious education classes, we ask that our families participate in additional activities to help grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. This year we are focusing on how Jesus reveals himself to us in community. The three communities we are focusing on are Faith, Service, and Formation.
Communities of Faith
"For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst."
Every RE family should attend a Mass during the Advent or Lent Message Series, discuss the Homily as a family, and share your reflections with us through the parish website.
Communities of Service
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of my brothers and sisters, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40
Every RE family should be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving as a family. We will offer service opportunities in the parish or you can serve in our city community sometime between September 2016 and March 2017. Once you have completed your service we ask that you share a reflection through the "RE Online Reflections," link on the left side of the RE page.
Communities of Formation
“Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ”
2 Peter 3:18
Every RE family should continue their formation journey through attendance at one adult event and one family event. Some of the event options are listed below, more will be added as they become available.
