Adult Initiation
RCIA is bringing the "Good News" to the modern world...
"RCIA" stands for the "Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults", the document flowing from Vatican II which guides the process by which adults are initiated into our Roman Catholic community.
The rite describes a process in which men and women are guided and cared for as they awaken in faith and are gradually introduced to the Catholic way of life.
The St Elizabeth Ann Seton RCIA process is year round, meaning that individuals can begin the process at several points during the year. Individuals who have been baptized in another Christian denomination may be initiated as a Catholic at various times throughout the year at Sunday liturgy.
Click on the "About RCIA" link at the top of this page for more information about the RCIA Process.
