Our parish seeks to demonstrate the importance of sacraments, with an emphasis on the centrality of the Eucharist, in the life of all Catholics.
Persons encounter God in the Sacraments. The sacraments, most centrally the Eucharist, are the source and strength of the Catholic community and are essential to the life of the Church. In practicing the Sacraments we demonstrate an understanding of and experience Eucharist as central to Catholic life and the symbol of the reign of God. We encourage regular participation in the sacramental life of the community; refer to and reflect upon scripture texts relating to the sacraments; analyze, interpret and apply symbols of the sacraments; and trace the historical development of the sacraments in education programs.
